Report to the known world.

Known world: Sylvia's Red Hat function went swimmingly and I stayed out of sight, except to take a few photos.

I sp0ke to Thee Midniters and Eddie again, pretty cool guys...Eddie lives in a motel with his 94-year old dad...don't know what to make of that.

During the week, I worked on Beachcomber stories: the main one about the incident at the airport perimeter that drew in a councilwoman whom I happen to respect, but don't think Jay does. Airport reasons, he supports expansion, she's suspicious.

On Wednesday, I went to a Carson Park meeting for a story and met several fans of my writing at the Beachcomber, so that stuff is encouraging.

Over the weekend, I didn't do my show, worked on stories with a new deadline instead, that's the breaks - will do one live every other week, so reruns will be more frequent.

Unremarkable weekend, so I watched football, blew off a potluck and just stuck around, which is what happened during the following week.

On last Wednesday, I went to Dizzy's because I got a bullshit lead on some records on Obispo. I couldn't find the 45s, said she. That's why I came, said me. Junk. Went to Dizzy's, better than average junk and met a kid from Compton who works there who's a big time record spinner for a rap act and wants to write for RCN. All of this and some interesting 45s, so there!

This past Sunday, I went to the O.C. Record Show, pretty good turnout, interesting records as usual. Stuff most people pass up, but I'm drawn to, you betchum Red Ryder.

This week has been up, then down, then up, then around, with Shea. She's operating strictly on emotions, something I'm not prone to, unless I get mad, of course.

I've been busy at work on my L.A. history all music tome, just sending it to B&R. Oughta ruffle more than a few feathers. Right now, I'm listening to Rockit Radio. I have a new appreciation for them since I met with Wagman and Leo a couple o'weeks ago and saw his lister count, about 20% of the Rockit, which has dismissed the pontifiical Dave Justice who went with Route 66 Radio, getting the Mayo treatment.
