chief's day

This morning, I attended the quarterly meeting with Chief Batts, the last one at L.B. Blvd. as the dept. is moving back to Bwy. HQ this weekend. Wide ranging, very interesting stuff: at the end, I brought up The Game concert this weekend, and wow, got an earful about the planning and the use of police this concert necessitates. It was dry when I arrived, clear when I left, avoided the fairly heavy rain.
