granddaughter arrives the hard way

This morning, early, really late last night, we got the word. Our daughter Heather Buch delivered (as her husband Anders stated it) a 4.39 kg daughter - a girl! That's just under 10 lbs. U.S. We are thrilled and today, while we were out shopping, Heather called. She seems marvelously happy, almost, really, absolutely giddy.

The hard way, you ask? C-section. Never tried it, never want to, though it expedites good seating and posture, or so I'm told.
